Mind control is the critical thinking exercise in which one analyzes how a reactionary event is making them feel, opposed to reacting based on what they are emotionally thinking. “HOW” thinking manifests a processed reaction, and “WHAT” thinking manifests an impulsive reaction. Control does not equal manipulation, and I speculate that many people equate control with manipulation and manipulation as a negative behavior.

There could be some subconscious reasoning to this claim, specifically in individuals who feel like they have little control over their lives. This practice is helpful for individuals seeking entrepreneurship, because it strengthens self-control while decreasing susceptibility to undesired manipulation from an encompassing environment. In part two I explained that “HOW” thinking can help individuals who have been manipulated to worship money instead of respecting it. The power of mind control can not only alter the way one processes information from reactionary events, but also empowers an individual to create alterations to their encompassing environment.
Manipulation is a Neutral Term with No Charge
You can control your mind, but you cannot control your encompassing environment. As I mentioned in part one, your encompassing environment can manipulate your mind, but it cannot control it. I think at this time it is safe for me to say, that it is possible for you to manipulate your encompassing environment. I think I just heard about a thousand gasps from somewhere as I wrote this, because manipulative behavior has been stigmatized as being intrinsically negative. I have even so much as witnessed people jump to diagnosing manipulative behavior as narcissism. Ironically enough, to do such a thing is to be manipulative, because the popular perception of narcissism is that it is a negative personality trait. I have noticed this dirty tactic being utilized mostly by sophists, and usually for one or both of these reasons:
1. To take the piss out of a would-be intellectual adversary (usually when they have less supporters) in order to discredit them among their peers.
2. To shame an individual back into a state of stoic conformity.
You have to admit that this tactic makes for an excellent way to manipulate masses, for political agenda, by subliminally removing the backbone of individuals by altering how people perceive a character trait that otherwise would be recognized as “conviction”, but I digress.
The common definition of manipulate is:
1. To skillfully handle or control a tool or device
2. “Control” or Influence (a person, group, or situation) cleverly, unfairly, or unscrupulously
As you can see in the most commonly referred definition of manipulate, there is fallacy. I put quotes around the word control in the second definition, because we have already established that only the individual is in control over their own mind. An encompassing environment (which includes other people) can manipulate an individual’s mind, but only if an individual is susceptible to manipulation. This goes back to the “HOW” vs “WHAT” critical thinking exercise. An individual may think about how the reactionary event is making them feel and realize whether or not they were truly moved, or choose to control their emotion in such a way that alters the effect of the reactionary event. In either case the individual is always in control, not the reactionary event triggered by an alteration within the encompassing environment.
Shaping Your Environment or Your Environment Taking Shape?
Manipulation in it and of itself is neither positive nor negative. As an entrepreneur, I see manipulation as the effect of a reactionary event that is triggered by an alteration within an encompassing environment, nothing more nothing less. Whether the effect manipulates as desired or is perceived as either negative or positive, all comes down to the reactionary result of the alterations made that created the effect. Only ideology, expression, motive, character, agenda, environment, opinions and charged particles can be defined or perceived as positive or negative. Manipulation is just an actionable term. It’s like saying “someone is firing rounds with their AR-15” is negative. That is a statement of bias that can only be true based on an individual’s perception of somebody else who happens to be manipulating their AR-15 to fire rounds.
The sooner you realize that you and you alone are in control of your mind, the sooner you can explore the depths of it and discover your true self, true desire, and passions. Then you can begin to manipulate your encompassing environment in pursuit of that which makes you happy, and whether or not that is something perceived as being a positive or negative action/behavior is only a matter of perception. You will find that if you stick to your guns, your encompassing environment will begin to resemble whatever you pursue. Some call this the law of attraction, and I will explore that concept in depth another time. I believe the resemblance of that which one pursues takes shape within their encompassing environment, because of effects taking place over time due to an individual’s alterations on their encompassing environment. The manipulation that may result from the reactionary events caused by the individual’s alterations within the environment can trigger a chain of effects that lead to changing the shape of the encompassing environment.
Your Personal Perspective Manipulated
In layman’s terms, manipulation is a behavior that each and every one of us do to alter our environment. A good deed is manipulation of one’s encompassing environment that is popularly perceived as positive. A dirty deed is manipulation of one’s encompassing environment that is popularly considered negative. Nice weather is an example of natural manipulation that is popularly perceived as positive. A natural disaster is natural manipulation of an encompassing environment that is popularly perceived as negative. If somebody is encouraged by a speech to do good deeds, then that is manipulation that is popularly considered positive. If somebody is discouraged from doing good deeds or encouraged to perform “evil” deeds by the words of another then that is manipulation that is popularly perceived as negative.
I could go on giving more examples of how the term manipulation is neutral by default. I think it is important to reference back to “The Banking Institutions Do Not want You to Read This”, in this instance. Remember how I explained that there exists strategic use of “buzzwords” within our society, that ironically, seems to manipulate how people perceive investing and finance? How has that shaped our encompassing environment? Perhaps it is time to consider exercising some mind control, and start making some alterations to your encompassing environment, and let the manipulation take effect. Get active, take action, become engaged in your interests/desires with passion, and seize your one and only chance to pursue that which makes you happy. Live Free and Live Rich.
